After the two Avengers films concluded the MCU’s Infinity Saga, Wanda Maximoff’s story continued in her first project as a main character. Olsen joined Disney+’s WandaVisionwith the Scarlet Witch’s grief over Vision’s death and the trauma she went through when she tried to kill him to save the universe, leading to a major event. Wanda Maximoff’s grief and her powers mixed and caused her to place a curse on the town of Westview.
Wanda went to Westview after seeing Vision’s body at SWORD headquarters. Vision had bought a property in Westview where they could live together.
WandaVision would explore many different eras of television, while Scarlet Witch created a reality similar to the television shows she had watched as a child that provided her with comfort. Wanda had no intention of casting a spell over all the residents of Westviewbut her grief and chaos magic were so powerful that when she released them, the entire city was engulfed in it.
8 Wanda sacrificed Vision and her children to save the residents of Westview

The children aged faster than normal and went from babies to 10-year-olds throughout the series. Unfortunately, Wanda had to make another great sacrifice to save the town of Westview and break out of the vicious cycle she found herself in.

Understandably, the townspeople were angry at Wanda’s actions. The Hex retreated and returned things to their original state, with Wanda says a final emotional goodbye to her children and Vision before they were gone.
7 Wanda Maximoff trapped Agatha Harkness in Westview and left her powerless

Over time, WandaVision revealed that the true villain of the series was Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness. The character was summoned to Westview because of the powerful energy she emitted. She disguised herself as the “curious neighbor” Agnesgets closer to Wanda and manipulates many events, for example she lets Evan Peters’ Ralph Bohner pretend to be Quicksilver. Agatha’s true intention was to use the Scarlet Witch’s powerful chaos magic for herself.
At the end of the series, Hahn’s Agatha is defeated by Wanda, who fully embraces her heritage as the Scarlet Witch, complete with a new superhero costume. 6 Wanda raged throughout the multiverse until her children opened her eyes

After WandaVisionThe ending made Wanda’s pain worse, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness sent the character on the path to becoming a real villain. The film followed a Wanda, corrupted by Darkhold, attempts to find her children throughout the multiverseOne of her goals was to give young America Chavez the ability to jump throughout the multiverse, which would have meant Wanda would have to kill the character, something Doctor Strange would not allow.
The Scarlet Witch wreaked havoc throughout the multiverse, spilling blood as Wanda killed off characters in droves. Along her path of destruction, which included killing the Illuminati of Earth-838, which included heroes like Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Reed Richards (John Krasinski), Wanda found multiverse versions of her children. When she realized that her corrupted state frightened her children, Wanda saw the error in her behavior.
5 Scarlet Witch has destroyed all Darkholds throughout the multiverse

Agatha Harkness brought the Darkhold to Westview, hoping to use the book of black magic to control Wanda’s Hex and remain undetected in Westview. After Agatha was defeated by the Scarlet Witch, Wanda took over the Darkholdto read the book and be seduced by it, the more she used it in both WandaVisionSeries finale and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The Darkhold allowed Wanda and other characters to dreamwalk — take control of multiverse variants of themselves — in the Doctor Strange Continued. After a wizard destroyed the Darkhold and died in Kamar-Taj, Wanda went to Mount Wundagore where the Darkhold had been transferred into the walls. Realizing that she was scaring her children and that what she was doing was wrong, Scarlet Witch used her powers to destroy all copies of the Darkhold in the multiverse.

Realizing how much pain and death she had caused, Wanda Maximoff sacrificed herself to destroy all versions of the Darkhold and Mount Wundagore. Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal, a mysterious witch with ties to Hahn’s Agatha Harkness, tells her: “The witch is gone, leaving you trapped in her twisted spell.” Now that Wanda Maximoff’s death has been confirmed, it remains to be seen when and where the MCU will usher in her return. The Scarlet Witch is reportedly a possible character for the Vision series, and Agatha – All the time could see Wanda’s MCU return sooner.
3 Agatha Harkness betrayed her circle and killed her mother

Agatha Harkness has a very dark backstory. WandaVision revealed that the witch has been active at least since the Salem witch trials in the late 17th century. At that time, Agatha was part of a coven that included her mother, Evanora Harkness. However, the MCU villain betrayed her coven by stealing knowledge that she should not have access to and practicing black magic. This led to Agatha is brought to justice by her own circle.
Rather than letting the other witches kill her or take her magic, Agatha uses her dark magic to turn things around. Despite being tied to a wooden stake, the witch overpowered the others, eventually killing Evanora, her own mother, and flying away. Interestingly, Evanora will reappear in Agatha – All the timeprobably in a flashback. Evanora could also appear at the end of Witch Street.
2 Agatha Harkness tried to steal the Scarlet Witch’s powers

WandaVision cemented that Agatha Harkness had a reputation for stealing the powers of other witches. The Salem flashbacks were visible evidence of this, as Agatha stole the powers of her coven and her own mother before striking out on her own. In WandaVisionThe villain also told Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff that she took the magic of “the unworthy.” Agatha Harkness had every intention of adding Wanda to the list of characters who lost their powers to her, but the Scarlet Witch had other plans.

The most likely scenario is that Teen Wanda’s son is Billy Kaplan. Agatha – All the time is said to contain many secrets that tie in with previous MCU films and shows.
