Police are investigating after three men were shot outside a McDonald’s in Park City early Sunday morning, authorities said.

The Park City Police Department and Gurnee Fire Department responded to a report of a shooting at McDonald’s, 3249 Belvidere Road in Park City around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived on the scene, they reported that three men had been shot in the parking lot.

The Gurnee Fire Department was stationed nearby until the accident scene was secured by police.

Two of the victims had already left the scene of the accident before paramedics arrived and were taken to Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan.

The third shot victim was found south of the McDonald’s at the corner of 7th Street and Knight Avenue.

The third victim was taken by ambulance to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

Police did not provide any information on the condition of the three victims, but said their injuries were not life-threatening.

Officials from Park City University and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office investigated the shooting outside the restaurant.

Large parts of the McDonald’s parking lot and drive-in were cordoned off with barrier tape.

As evidence, police photographed items of clothing and a pair of shoes lying on the ground in front of one of the drive-in counters.
