Three teenagers were arrested after driving their car into a tobacco store in Hudson.

According to Hudson Police, officers responded to a burglar alarm going off at DAB Smoke Shop, 234 Washington St., around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found the front entrance of the store smashed in. An on-site investigation revealed that a vehicle had likely driven into the entrance.

Officials said the suspects fled the scene, and police instructed surrounding police departments to be on the lookout for a vehicle that appeared to have damage consistent with having crashed through the entrance of a store.

Shortly thereafter, Marlborough Police said they saw a vehicle with damage consistent with the reported damage. The vehicle was stopped in the area by a Marlborough Officer and a Massachusetts State Trooper.

After investigating, police arrested three juveniles, a 15-year-old from Boston, a 16-year-old from Quincy and a 17-year-old from Danvers.

The officers also discovered goods allegedly stolen from the DAB Smoke Shop.

Two suspects were held on bail and the third was handed over to his legal guardians.

They will be arraigned in Framingham Juvenile Court in the next few days.

“This is an example of strong policing and is intended to send the message that break-ins and thefts will not be tolerated at our local businesses,” said Police Chief DiPersio. “We have excellent relationships with our neighboring agencies and that teamwork was clearly on display early Saturday morning, resulting in the arrest of three juveniles in this most brazen and outrageous crime.”
