4 accused in shoplifting incident at Walmart: Mobile police

MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG) – Four Mobile residents are accused of stealing items from Walmart, according to Mobile police.

According to a press release from the MPD, officers responded to a reported shoplifting that occurred at approximately 8:36 p.m. on Sunday, August 11 at the Walmart located at 101 East I-65 Service Road.

“Upon further investigation, officers found that several individuals placed unpaid merchandise in shopping bags before passing all of the points of sale on their way out the door,” the press release said.

According to MPD, 20-year-old Syleria Monique King, 21-year-old Rayjah Shanae Johnson, 19-year-old Amauria Alexandria Anderson and 19-year-old Stephen Marquis Mixon were arrested and taken to Metro Jail.

They are all accused of organized shoplifting.

According to Mobile jail records, Johnson is also charged with a misdemeanor probation violation as a result of the incident.
