The Saturday Night Live star from New Jersey was “not invited back” this season. “It wasn’t on the agenda.”

The new season of “Saturday Night Live” is scheduled to premiere on September 28, but a cast member from New Jersey will not be there.

Chloe Troast will not participate in the 50th season of “SNL,” she announced on Monday evening.

“Unfortunately, I was not invited back to SNL this season,” Troast, 27, said in an Instagram post. “I wish I could go back to be with all the amazing friends I made there. It truly felt like home. But that wasn’t on the agenda.”

Troast grew up in Ho-Ho-Kus and joined the cast of “SNL” as a star performer for season 49 in 2023.

“I want to thank everyone who supported me,” she said in the post. “Especially everyone who came to my tour this summer, dressed up in character costumes and had such wonderful things to say. You mean everything to me. I hope I was able to spread joy and laughter, love. Onward and higher.”

The comedian shared the news with her Instagram followers as “SNL” announced three new additions for season 50: lead actors Emil Wakim, Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline.

Troast announced her departure from “SNL” just weeks after both cast member Punkie Johnson and lead actress Molly Kearney announced they would not be participating in the new season.

To commemorate Troast’s time on the show, here’s “Little Orphan Cassidy,” a sketch in which she plays a 27-year-old orphan who sings her heart out to the moon—and the moon is Timothée Chalamet.
