Fox News electoral panel: Harris won the debate

Fox News electoral panel: Harris won the debate

Voters who attended a panel discussion on Fox News Digital and reacted to the debate said Vice President Kamala Harris emerged victorious from the event.

When asked who they thought won the debate, 12 voters on the panel raised their hands for Harris, while only five said they believed former President Donald Trump won.

When asked why they thought Harris won, many voters said Trump did not know how to attack his new opponent.

“In his head, he’s basically still trying to run against Joe Biden,” one voter said.

Another voter criticized Trump for not bringing fresh ideas to the stage.

“Trump was so bad, he’s like an old suit from 1987 now. He just repeats himself, says the same thing, and she’s refreshing because she’s different,” the voter said. “I think if he had taken a different line of attack against her, it would have been more effective.”

Trump says he “probably got a bullet in the head” because of Democrats’ rhetoric

“I think from my perspective she won the debate because he was so bad and repeated himself so much, but I think she’s weak. She’s weak on substance and she’s weak on facts,” the voter added.

But the panel did not only have good news for Harris. Only a few of the participants said that the Vice President had fulfilled their expectations.

“She wasn’t very specific when asked about specific things,” said one voter. “She knows how to tug at the heartstrings. She knows how to be dramatic to touch the hearts of Americans while avoiding the tough questions.”

The debate could be the only one between the two candidates before Election Day in November. President Biden performed disastrously in the debate, setting off a movement to push him out of the election. There are only 56 days left until most voters cast their ballots.
