West Hollywood says goodbye to Tom Sandoval And Tom Schwartz?
In a new interview with Sarah Fraser on his Reality Network Streaming channel, former Vanderpump Rules Star and SUR Manager Peter Madrigal says the TomTom Restaurant and bar The BFFs opened in 2018 with Lisa Vanderpump And Ken Todd will be renamed and the names of the toms will be removed.
“I looked at it the other night and I think the TomTom sign is no longer on. I noticed that the other night,” Peter said, according to a report in The sun“She renames it Pump.”
“When you enter the building that used to be called TomTom, you see a gate and above it it says ‘Pump,’” Peter added.
Lisa and Ken ran a popular restaurant and lounge called Pump near the TomTom location for 10 years, but closed it in 2023 due to disputes with their landlords over everything from rent to olive trees. According to Peter, these changes were just the beginning for the restaurant, in which the Toms owned a small share. When asked if the junior partners would be bought out by Lisa and Ken, given all the changes at the restaurant, Peter replied, “I thought they already had.”
However, at the time of writing, the TomTom website and social media accounts were still active and showed no indication of a name change.
The Toms may also say goodbye to Schwartz & Sandy’sthe restaurant, which the pair opened as majority owners in 2022 after many setbacks. The restaurant was hit hard in the wake of “Scandoval,” when VPR fans boycotted the eatery, sent its online reviews plummeting, and even vandalized the property. According to Peter, the restaurant still hasn’t recovered, saying he “heard through the grapevine” that the lounge is now a “ghost town.”
While the restaurant industry has been tough for Tom and Tom, Lisa and Ken and their partners have done quite well. In addition to operating their restaurants in Los Angeles, the team has opened several successful restaurants and lounges with Ceasars Entertainment, including Wolf from Vanderpump in Lake Tahoe and Vanderpump Cocktail Garden Vegas Pinky’s from Vanderpumpwhich was originally planned to open this summer, will premiere in the fall at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas.
Lisa has not commented on Peter’s statements regarding the alleged renaming of TomTom and none of the Toms have confirmed or denied that they are being bought out of the restaurant.
