According to body language expert Susan Constantine, Vice President Kamala Harris managed to provoke former President Trump several times during the ABC presidential debate on Tuesday, driving him crazy and throwing him off track.

At the debate on Tuesday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Trump and Harris shared the stage for the first time. Commentators said it was a good night for Harris, while Trump has performed better.

This was in part because Harris provoked reactions from Trump, who became increasingly frustrated and angry as the evening progressed.

There was a clear winner in the Trump-Harris duel, but I don’t think this election is over.

Constantine told Fox News Digital that Harris knew Trump’s weaknesses, such as questioning the size of crowds at his rallies, and when she brought them up, he reacted defiantly – to his detriment.

“He fell for every game she played; it was all tactics,” says Constantine. “So when she provoked the bear, he would growl back and she would provoke the bear further, especially of course when it came to the crowd.”

Harris said that at Trump’s rallies, people often leave early out of exhaustion and boredom. Trump responded that his rallies have record attendance, while Harris buses people to her rallies and pays them to be there.

“She knew every single one of his weak points and he defended her instead of answering the question and just focusing on the matter. He spent most of his time hitting the ball back at her and defending himself, which was not a good approach,” says Constantine.

“You could see that Trump was really, really upset about it. At one point, his shoulders slumped, his head hung, his body slumped. And then you saw his upper lip move up really quickly. It was a micro-expression of hatred, disgust and contempt… he was really angry at her for saying that.”

Harris tells Trump during the debate that he is “not running against Joe Biden.”

Constantine says Trump was angry for a reason. He pointed out that Harris had made many derogatory comments and that was why he was unable to regain control of the debate after being provoked by Harris. Her smile showed that she knew she had cornered the former president.

“You could see his anger, his voice modulation, his eyebrows raised, his lips pressed together. He was angry. In fact, you could hear a lot in his voice,” she explains. “Most of the time he was pressed together. He was suppressing a lot of his own feelings towards her, which were anger. That only fuelled Harris, because she knew she had him. That’s why you kept seeing those smiles. And every time she had him… she rewarded herself with a big permanent smile.”

Constantine says Harris’ smile was often fake and unusually long. Harris also did this to provoke Trump and smiled as a backup plan when she disagreed with Trump’s statements, Constantine said.

BODY LANGUAGE EXPERT BRUTAL RESPONSE TO BIDEN’S DEBATE AGAINST TRUMP: “LIKE A DEAD MAN ON THE ROAD”

“Real smiles don’t last more than the longest four seconds. If a person maintains that smile and keeps it up the whole time, that’s condescending, and what they’re doing is they’re also dismissing Trump’s statement and covering (it) up with the permanent smile. That’s insincere,” Constantine explains. “If they want to downplay Trump’s statement, they’re smiling the whole time or even laughing at it.”

Constantine says there was a clear difference between the two candidates: Trump with a more serious tone, Harris with a more cheerful impression.

In the beginning, Harris often threw her head back, almost tilting it upwards, in what Constantine describes as an “attitude of superiority.” She raised her nose and folded her arms appraisingly.

“It was condescending and also smug. Not a good move,” says Constantine.

Constantine says Harris was very descriptive with her hand movements and looked directly into the camera, knowing exactly how to use her gestures.

“She spoke to the American people. She played her musical cards perfectly in many ways. I think she had a lot of coaching.”

Constantine says Harris lost her rhythm when she stumbled over the question of whether she supported any restrictions on a woman’s right to abortion.

“She was avoiding the question because she couldn’t really answer it,” she explains. “So she lowers her eyes and does a bobblehead. And that was a bunch of deception.”

In addition, Constantine praised Harris for her handshake before the debate and noted that the Vice President came close to Trump to engage in conversation with him.

“She paused for a minute. She almost hesitated a little bit, but then she went for it… I give her a point for that,” Constantine says. “Overall… it was certainly a boxing match. Of course, they were on completely different sides. There was no love on Trump’s side, and I think Harris used that to her advantage and Donald Trump fell into the trap.”
