Chappell Roan had a very special accessory with her on the red carpet at the 2024 VMAs – a knight!

The pop singer caused a stir in her flowing medieval look with a sword, vintage carpet and a knight in full armor standing by in the wings.

This will be Roan’s first VMAs. She is nominated for several awards, including Best New Artist, and will perform her hit “Good Luck, Babe.”

Lenny Kravitz found a way to stay cool on the 2024 VMAs red carpet.

The 60-year-old rocker appeared at the show shirtless and bare-chested.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Kravitz has made a shirtless fashion statement at an awards ceremony. After all, he spends a lot of time in the gym – and he can show it off.

But this time, Kravitz covered up a bit more and wore a black leather coat and a matching black leather tie, which he complemented with a diamond brooch.

Kravitz will perform a medley of his hits, including “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” at the VMAs on Wednesday night.

Could Taylor Swift become the most awarded musician in VMAs history?

Taylor Swift may be in a history-making era.

The singer leads the VMA nominations this year, earning a good dozen nods—one of which is for the coveted video of the year for “Fortnight,” her collaboration with Post Malone.

Swift has already won the Video of the Year award four times, so a triumph this year against fellow nominees Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, SZA and Eminem would only extend her record for most wins in the category.

However, if Swift wins three or more Moon People over the course of the evening, she would overtake Beyoncé as the artist with the most VMAs in history (the “Crazy in Love” singer has 25 wins as a solo artist, Swift currently has 23).

At least one person is rooting for Swift: her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

In a new episode of New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce In a podcast released on Wednesday, September 11, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end said he hopes Swift can “get away with some of those things tonight.”

“Those are always the cooler trophies,” he said. “The space guys.”

But that’s not all she’s looking forward to. Megan also said she’s “excited to perform” and “excited to see all the hotties.”

“I love New York,” adds the Grammy winner. “I can’t wait to be back there and try all the food, and I’m excited to see what people think of what I bring to the table as a hostess.”
