Britain is preparing for further protests against racism, which have already plunged the country into chaos.

Thousands of people gathered at anti-racism rallies across the UK on Saturday.

The demonstrations follow xenophobic unrest and violence across the country this week, following nationwide violence following a fatal knife attack on children.

The organization Stand Up to Racism organized up to 22 “Stop the Far Right” demonstrations on Saturday, which took place in cities such as London, Manchester and Birmingham.

In the capital, thousands of anti-racism protesters gathered outside Reform UK’s London office and accused Nigel Farage of “inciting fascist rioters”. They then marched to Whitehall, to the Prime Minister’s residence in Downing Street, in support of refugees.

It is estimated that around 2,500 people took part in the march.

The protesters chanted “Refugees are welcome here” and listened to speeches outside the party headquarters before marching to Whitehall.

Gary McFarlane of Stand up for Racism said: “The majority of people in Britain are for a multicultural society and against the violence of racists and fascists.”
