Cardi B is now a mother of three children!
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper announced on Instagram on Thursday that she gave birth to her third baby (his sixth) with estranged husband Offset on September 7.
“The prettiest little thing 🌸🌸 07.09.24 💖💖💖,” she wrote under a carousel of photos of herself in the hospital with her newborn daughter.
Cardi – born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar – also shared photos of the Migos host holding the baby while her two other children, Kulture, 6, and Wave, 3, sat nearby.
One snapshot shows the “I Like It” rapper breastfeeding her daughter while sitting in a hospital bed.
Cardi, 31, first announced her pregnancy on August 1, just one day after filing for divorce from 32-year-old Offset.
At the time, the Grammy winner posed on a rooftop in a red dress and matching feather coat, revealing her baby bump.
“With every end comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this time with you. You brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my strength! You reminded me that I can have it all!” she wrote in the caption.
“You reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can’t wait for you to witness what you have helped me achieve, what you have pushed me to do!
“It’s so much easier to just sit back and take life’s twists and turns, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth persevering!” she concluded.
Just one day before her announcement, Page Six exclusively revealed that Cardi had filed for divorce from Offset, née Kiari Cephus, after nearly seven years of marriage.
“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” a source told us. “It’s something she wants to do.”
The insider also denied that rumors of infidelity were the reason for the split – even though the couple had been facing such allegations for years.
Although Cardi is seeking custody of their children, she made it clear that she is not demanding child support from the “Walk It Talk It” host.
“I demand that he only pay the bills he already pays for the kids and the new child,” she wrote on Instagram on August 3.
The couple, who secretly married in 2017, recently reunited to celebrate their son Wave’s third birthday.
