Early voting dates for Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia

Early voting for the general election is scheduled to begin in Florida and Georgia next month.

Here’s everything you need to know about state-by-state requirements and early voting dates in each county in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

Northeast Florida

  • Early voting is required in every election involving a state or federal office. Early voting must begin at least 10 days before the election and end 3 days before the election.

  • In addition, election officials have the option to offer more early voting opportunities on the 15th, 14th, 13th, 12th, 11th or 2nd day before an election.

Baker area – 24 October – 2 November

County of Bradford – 21 October – 3 November

Clay County – 22 October – 2 November

Columbia area – 21 October – 2 November

Duval County – 21 October – 3 November

Nassau County – 23 October – 2 November

Putnam County – 21 October – 2 November

St. Johns County – 21 October – 2 November

Union County – 26 October – 2 November

SOUTHEAST GEORGIA

  • State law requires local election officials to allow early in-person voting beginning on the fourth Monday before a primary or election and as soon as possible before the runoff.

  • Early voting ends on the Friday immediately before election day.

  • Early voting takes place Monday through Friday and the second and third Saturdays before Election Day. Some polling places may be open on the second and third Sundays. Check with your polling place for available dates and hours.

Camden County – 15 October to 1 November with Saturday elections on 19 and 26 October

Glynn County – 15 October to 1 November with Saturday elections on 19 and 26 October

Pierce County – Voters from all 8 precincts may cast their ballots at the Pierce County Election Office up to 21 days before Election Day.

County Ware – 15 October to 1 November with Saturday elections on 19 and 26 October and Sunday elections on 27 October
