Julie Chen Moonves will miss ‘Big Brother’ eviction episode due to COVID

Julie Chen Moonves will miss the live concert Big Brother The CBS host announced on Thursday that he had received an eviction episode following his COVID-19 diagnosis.

Moonves wrote that she woke up with a sore throat last Friday and then went to an ENT doctor friend and was diagnosed with COVID that same evening.

“Fortunately, this is only my second time and it was very mild,” Moonves wrote. “No fever and just a sore throat.”

Unfortunately, Moonves continued, her test this week is still positive, “although I feel good and strong and my cough is gone.”

“I have to sit tonight Big Brother “Live eviction show,” she wrote.

Jerry O’Connell will take Moonves’ place on Thursday night’s episode. “I hope Jerry fits into my dress,” Moonves joked, adding that she also hopes O’Connell “has a blast and tells the houseguests I miss them but I’ll be watching from home.”

“See? Chenbot is only human! Love each other and enjoy the show tonight,” she concluded.

O’Connell confirmed his representation duties later on Thursday via the official Big Brother Instagram.

“This is Jerry O’Connell. I’m one of the hosts of The conversation”, he said in a video statement. “Tonight I will be the substitute teacher for Big Brother“Julie Chen Moonves is not doing well, we love her.”
