The first night of SmackDown on the USA Network: Match Card

After months of waiting, SmackDown is finally returning to the USA Network – Friday, September 13th is a date that every member of the WWE Universe has marked on their calendar, and now the day is finally here.

How to watch

Regard Monday Night RAW every Monday night at 8/7c on the USA Network. Stream more exciting WWE series on Peacock.

The first night of SmackDown on USA Network promises to be the most explosive and unpredictable episode of 2024 – here’s how you can watch it!

How to watch WWE SmackDown on USA Network

To watch the September 13th episode of SmackDown, just tune in to the USA Network this Friday at 8/7c!

We’re sure the WWE Universe has perfected the “tune in to the USA Network at 8/7c” thing – after all, fans have been doing it every Monday night on Raw for as long as anyone can remember.

In fact, USA Network is now officially the exclusive home of WWE Raw and SmackDown through the end of 2024 – and SmackDown isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

If you want to watch these new SmackDown episodes a little later on Peacock, they will be released 30 days after their premiere date.

Where will the first night of WWE SmackDown take place on the USA Network?

SmackDown will be broadcast live from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The arena is special – just over two years ago, WWE brought SmackDown to the Climate Pledge Arena. The WWE Universe witnessed a chaotic main event that pitted Drew McIntyre against Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline!

Although McIntyre emerged victorious, it came at a price: the former heavyweight champion ended the night by being choked out by Karrion Kross!

Fans in attendance on September 13 will notice that in WWE, the more things change, the more they stay the same – Sikoa will once again compete in the main event of the evening on September 13, in a match worthy of WrestleMania.

WWE Smackdown at the US premiere – Match Card

Although Cody Rhodes successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in the past, he now faces his most brutal defense yet when he and Sikoa go around the block one more time – inside a steel cage – in the main event of the first SmackDown on USA Network in nearly a decade.

After the match was made official on SmackDown on September 6, General Manager Nick Aldis revealed that he thought, “This whole Bloodline numbers game is getting boring and bad for business.” But then he came up with a solution: He locked the champion and challenger in a steel cage!

Matches like this don’t come around often, especially when the Undisputed WWE Title is on the line – but when SmackDown returns to the USA Network on September 13, a cage match is guaranteed as the main event. It doesn’t get any better than this in the WWE Universe – although we’d like to say the same about Cody Rhodes.

(Something tells us that The Bloodline will somehow find a way to get in on the fight, even though the cage makes it logistically impossible. Let’s all hope Cody has backup if needed!)

How about a main event for the biggest SmackDown of 2024?
