  • Crystal Palace have won nine games against Leicester in the Premier League – they have lost more times against than any other team in the entire competition.

  • Leicester lost their last game against Crystal Palace in the Premier League 1-2 (April 2023). They had previously remained unbeaten in the seven games against the Eagles (4 wins, 3 draws).

  • Since two 0-0 home draws in September/October last season, Crystal Palace’s last 16 Premier League games at Selhurst Park have seen 59 goals scored (F34 A25, 3.7 per game). Only Chelsea’s (63) and Manchester City’s (60) home games have seen more goals scored in the competition since the first game of this run (27 October).

  • Leicester City have only scored the first goal in two of their last 24 Premier League games and have conceded the first goal in all three of their matches this season. Only in 1994/95 and 2001/02 have the Foxes conceded the first goal in their first four games of a Premier League season, and they were relegated in both of those seasons.

  • Crystal Palace have conceded the first goal in each of their three Premier League matches so far this season (D1, L2). That is already one more goal than they conceded in the 13 games under Oliver Glasner last season. The Eagles have yet to win a Premier League game under the Austrian when they were behind (D2, L5).

  • Leicester City have won just two of their last 16 Premier League games in London (3 draws, 11 defeats), conceding 40 goals (2.5 per game).

  • Only Bournemouth (50) have recorded more pressing sequences than Crystal Palace (42) in the current Premier League season, and only Nottingham Forest (10) have recorded more direct attacks than the Eagles’ nine.

  • Since February 24 – Oliver Glasner’s first game as manager – only Phil Foden (5) has scored more Premier League goals from outside the box than Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze (4). In fact, since the start of the 2020/21 season, only James Ward-Prowse (13), Kevin De Bruyne (12) and Son Heung-min (11) have scored more such goals than him with 10.

  • Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta has made more deliberate runs into the penalty area than any other player in the Premier League this season (14).

  • Only Bruno Guimarães (16) has conceded more fouls in the current Premier League season than Leicester City’s Abdul Fatawu (10). Seven of these came after an attempted foul, more than any other player.
