No. 6 Missouri Football vs. No. 24 Boston College

No. 6 Missouri Football vs. No. 24 Boston College

The only ranked matchup on Saturday is in Columbia, Missouri, with the No. 6 Missouri Tigers taking on the No. 24 Boston College Eagles in Week 3.

Boston College seemingly came out of nowhere to beat then-10th ranked Florida State in its first game of the season. The Eagles proved to be a tough opponent in their shutout of Duquesne in Week 2, scoring eight touchdowns.

The Tigers’ defense will have to work hard against Boston College’s strong offense. Boston College’s offense, led by quarterback Thomas Castellanos, has scored 84 points in the two games. Despite being ranked much higher, Mizzou has scored 89 points and 11 touchdowns.

The Tigers’ offense hasn’t been the most consistent and has had some scoring droughts in the first few games. Quarterback Brady Cook will have to prove he can handle the challenge of a tougher defense to pull off another win.

Missouri will take the field to kick off play at 11:45 a.m. CDT. Live updates can be found below.
