Warby Parker recently signed a lease for a 1,400-square-foot space at Fairfax, 201 East 69th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The store is scheduled to open this month.

Managed by TF Cornerstone, the Fairfax was formerly the FBI’s New York headquarters and is now a residential building. The building features amenities such as a fitness center and a rooftop deck.

“Warby Parker is an exciting addition to the TFC portfolio and we are pleased to welcome them to our Fairfax property on the Upper East Side. It is thrilling to be part of Warby Parker’s expansion efforts as they advance the important mission of providing consumers with high-quality, affordable and accessible eyewear,” said Steve Gonzalez, vice president of retail leasing at TF Cornerstone.

The property is a short walk from Central Park and is just steps from the 68th Street-Hunter College subway station on the 6 train.
