How to watch No. 2 Texas vs. UTSA: Game time, TV, live streaming and more

The No. 2 seed Texas Longhorns traveled to one of the toughest venues in the country and imposed their will on the Michigan Wolverines. Now they come home for another non-conference exhibition game against the UTSA Roadrunners, who suffered a loss to rival Texas State a week earlier.

Part of the Roadrunners’ problem is establishing an offensive identity and playmakers in the post-Frank Harris era. Their offense failed to build momentum against the Bobcats’ defense, while GJ Kinne’s offense efficiently picked apart the defense and secured the school’s first win in the rivalry series. The Roadrunners need to figure out who they are going to be on both sides of the ball and build momentum for the conference season.

Texas has proven itself a legitimate national championship contender by dismantling the Wolverines on its home court, while Quinn Ewers’ performance a week ago has pushed him up the ranks of many Heisman and NFL Draft selections. To build on that momentum, the Longhorns will need to do what they did in the season opener against the Colorado State Rams: dominate an inferior opponent on its home court.

Quinn Ewers may be the best quarterback in the country. QB1 was calm and composed. His footwork in the pocket was impressive. He never lost the ball once. He didn’t let Michigan’s DL affect his throwing ability.

Jeff Traylor’s program is trying to regain its footing after longtime quarterback Frank Harris gave up football, numerous other stars graduated and Traylor’s ability to develop players made UTSA a feeder program to larger schools through the NCAA transfer portal.
