The five best Sunday games in Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season

  • WHERE: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City, Missouri)
  • WHEN: 4:25 p.m. ET |

The Bengals have had a less than encouraging start to the season, losing to the Patriots in Week 1. This is the third straight season they have started 0-1 under Zac Taylor, despite having a winning season in each of the previous two years. The Chiefs, meanwhile, are still the Chiefs. Rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy threw two touchdowns in the opening game and looks like he will have a big impact this season. These two teams are familiar opponents and it’s always a tough battle.

NFL Pro Insights:

Joe Burrow has been successful against the blitz in his career, posting the ninth-highest success rate of any quarterback with at least 100+ passes against the blitz over the past four seasons. Additionally, Burrow has shown a penchant for getting the ball quickly to his receivers further down the field, as he has the fifth-fastest throw time (2.47 seconds) and eighth-highest number of air yards per attempt (9.1) among these quarterbacks.

The Chiefs blitzed at the fifth-highest rate last season (35%), but they tend to hold back when facing Burrow, as they have blitzed below their season average (20% blitz rate) in the last four meetings with Burrow. In those four meetings, they allowed 9.2 yards per attempt while blitzing.
