Injury report New York Jets vs. Tennessee Titans, Week 2

Injury report New York Jets vs. Tennessee Titans, Week 2

The New York Jets will face the Tennessee Titans on the road on Sunday in Week 2 of the 2024 season. Both the Jets and Titans have released their final injury reports for the game.

For the Jets, cornerback DJ Reed has a knee injury and defensive lineman Micheal Clemons has a tricep injury. Both are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Safety Ashtyn Davis (ankle), cornerback Michael Carter (ankle), wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) and defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw (personal/paternity) are all off the injury list and are expected to play. Mike Williams will remain on pitch count due to his ongoing recovery from ACL surgery and pass rusher Haason Reddick will be out due to his ongoing strike.

For the Titans, safety Jamal Adams (hip), offensive lineman Dillon Radunz (rib), linebacker Otis Reese (concussion) and offensive lineman Peter Skoronski (neck) are all uninjured and expected to play. No Titans players are listed with an injury.

According to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jets were listed as 4.5-point favorites earlier in the week. That line has narrowed to 3.5 points at the time of publication. The line may have shifted due to DJ Reed’s injury status. Reed is one of the best second cornerbacks in the NFL. He was unable to practice on Friday, and if he can’t participate on Sunday, Brandin Echols or Qwan’tez Stiggers will have to take his place. That would be a blow to a cornerback trio that, when healthy, is the best in the game. Additionally, if Micheal Clemons can’t participate, it will further weaken a defensive line already battered from last Monday’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Hopefully, those two players will suit up and play for the Jets on Sunday.
