Political commentator and comedian Bill Maher has spoken about the most discussed topic of the week: Laura Loomer and it’s the next big controversy brewing. At one point, Laura Loomer questioned whether Taylor Swift was in an arranged relationship with Travis Kelce to influence the 2024 election. In reference to this, Bill Maher wondered if Laura Loomer was in an arranged relationship to influence the election because “she is very close to Trump.”
“She’s 31 and looks like his type. We wrote an editorial here a couple of years ago. It was basically about who the fuck Trump is. Because I said, you know, it’s not nobody. He’s been a dog for too long. And it’s not Melania. I think we might get our answer this week. I think it might be Laura Loomer. I’m just saying,” said Bill Maher.
Laura Loomer responded to the allegation with a legal warning, saying it was a complete and blatant lie. “I have never in my life experienced such a coordinated attack by the mainstream media, the White House and left-wing figures targeting a private citizen and investigative journalist simply because I flew on the plane and supported Donald Trump,” she said.
“This is unacceptable. And it is a blatant lie and incredibly disrespectful to President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. It’s very obvious some sort of memo went out because the reaction to what I said is completely over the top and it’s a full-blown smear campaign. This is a blatant lie by @billmaher and he is maliciously and intentionally defaming me,” Laura said.
Laura Loomer is a conspiracy theorist who was very close to Donald Trump’s campaign team. Loomer was seen traveling with Trump on his private jet, and GOP insiders fear she is a bad influence on Trump. It was probably her influence that prompted Trump to mention rumors of Haitian immigrants eating pets at the debate.
Trump distanced himself from Laura Loomer, saying she did not work for his campaign team. She was a private citizen and a long-time supporter. “I do not agree with her statements, but like the many millions of people who support me, she is tired of watching the radical left Marxists and fascists violently attack and slander me, and even do everything they can to stop their political opponent, ME!” Trump posted.
