CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow played pretty well on Sunday, but botched a crucial play that led to a touchdown against Kansas City, calling it one of the most frustrating losses of his career.
Cincinnati lost 26-25 in a game in which Burrow threw two touchdowns.
“It was more frustrating than ever,” Burrow said of the loss, adding that he would elaborate on it once he had some time to discuss the game.
Overall, he threw for 258 yards and 2 touchdowns on a 23-36 completion percentage. He fed the tight ends all day, with Mike Gesicki leading the team in pass receptions (7 catches, 91 yards). Burrow’s fumble was one of several bone-crushing plays.
“Obviously you have to hold onto the ball. That was disappointing. Gave them six points, that was frustrating,” Burrow said in a serious press conference about the fumble.
