The 28-year-old, who led the US team to a bronze medal in women’s rugby sevens in Paris, wowed as she walked the red carpet at the 76th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
The two-time Olympian exuded the glamour of old Hollywood in a strapless, midnight blue velvet peplum dress by Oscar de la Renta and eye-catching earrings.
The rugby star, who will be shining in the ballroom on the latest season of Dancing With The Stars, completed her stunning look with her signature red lips and an updo.
Maher continued to shine as she took the stage with her second dazzling performance of the evening.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model donned a figure-hugging strapless black dress with a daring leg slit and a striking purple sculptural bodice.
The athlete shone in her new outfit as she and her fellow athletes took the stage for the announcement of the categories.
Joining Maher were gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, who will be her rival on DWTS, swimmer Caeleb Dressel and Paralympian Ezra Frech, who won gold in both the high jump and 100-meter dash in Paris.
Maher is no stranger to creating looks, having made her SI Swimsuit debut as the cover model of the magazine’s September digital issue.
She showed off her figure in several swimsuits while presenting her Olympic medal on the beach for SI.
In Paris, she made headlines when she talked about turning the Olympic Village into an “island of love” because of the high proportion of single athletes.
Maher presented a second stunning look as she took the stage alongside Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, swimmer Caeleb Dressel and Paralympian Ezra Frech.
“I can’t wait to get to the Olympic Villa. It’s going to be a crazy summer,” Maher said in a TikTok video from July, parodying the introduction of Love Island contestants on the British reality TV show.
“Honestly, I’m probably the fittest bird in there.”
After an off-camera friend reminded Maher of her main goal in the Olympics, she reluctantly agreed not to turn the Olympic Village into a Love Island villa.
“I guess if we want to put it that way, but I’m still going to try to find someone as soon as possible,” Maher joked. “It’s early days, but I’m here to find love.”
