Watch Taylor Swift faint during Travis Kelce’s performance at the Chiefs game against the Bengals

Taylor Swift felt the sparks flying when Travis Kelce stepped onto the field for the first time during the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday (September 15).

Once again, the 34-year-old pop star was at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on her favorite NFL team. She turned a lot of heads as she watched the game from her usual box seat alongside friends and family. And before the game began, fan cameras caught her sweet reaction when a certain tight end took the field: As the commentators called out Kelce’s name and the entire stadium erupted, Swift put down her drink and began fanning herself, rolling her eyes upward and adopting a swoon-worthy expression.

The 14-time Grammy winner then regained her composure and joined thousands of other fans clapping for Kelce, who helped his team to a narrow 26-25 win over the Ohio State players. Ahead of Harrison Butker’s game-winning kick, Swift chatted with her mother Andrea and brother Austin, as well as Kelce’s mother Donna. At one point, both the “Anti-Hero” singer and the tight end’s mothers appeared to hug each other.

The performance came 10 days after the Chiefs’ first game of the 2024-25 season at Arrowhead, which Swift attended in a chic denim crop top and red over-the-knee boots. For Game 2, the musician wore a T-shirt dress with Kansas City logos and a pair of black over-the-knee boots.

In between the two games — both of which took place during Swift’s ongoing hiatus from the Eras Tour — the star attended the MTV Video Music Awards, where she won seven trophies, including Best Collaboration and Video of the Year for “Fortnight” with Post Malone. When Swift accepted the latter, she gave a special tribute to Kelce.

“I always heard someone cheering from across the studio, like ‘Whoo!’ – that one person was my friend Travis,” she recalled of filming the video with the tight end on set. “Everything that man touches turns into happiness, fun and magic, so I want to thank him for bringing that to our shoot.”
