Former NBA star Dwight Howard made his Dancing with the stars Debut on Tuesday evening with partner Daniella Karagach.

People were curious to see how the 6’2″ baller and the 5’3″ dancer would cope with their huge height difference. Surprisingly, this was never a problem during the routine thanks to Karagach’s brilliant choreography.

Howard and Karagach thrilled the audience and the jury with their salsa routine to “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan and achieved the second highest score of the evening with 22 points.

Right from the start, Karagach choreographed a lift that hilariously showcased the size difference between the two, and there was no turning back.

After the season premiere, the official Dancing with the stars The Instagram account uploaded photos of each exercise and Howard took to the comments to joke about his size.

“I’ve never danced before, but hopefully you can see that I’m up to the challenge. Wearing stilts doesn’t make it any easier,” he wrote in the comments.

The second slide shows the hilarious lift at the beginning of the routine.

Howard will learn his fate when Episode 2 airs in two weeks and two contestants are eliminated.
