Zach Bryan potentially risking “bad blood” with Taylor Swift after he attacked her while “drunk”.

The 28-year-old country star insulted The Department for Tortured Poets Star, writing that he prefers Kanye West over her in a post shared via X on Tuesday, September 17.

According to a diversity Report published Wednesday, September 18, Bryan also took Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce in the same post.

The post begins with “Eagles > Chiefs” before taking aim at Swift with the words “Kanye > Taylor… Who’s with me?”

It seems Bryan quickly regretted his comments after receiving backlash from Swift fans. The singer backtracked, apologized for his remarks, and now appears to have deleted his account entirely.

“Guys, I love Taylor,” Bryan said, before citing alcohol as the reason for his post. “(I) heard TTPD last night and ‘Thank You Aimee’ came on and I drunkenly tweeted that about Kanye. If anyone took that seriously, please know that I love both artists very much and think we’re in a really beautiful time in music.”

West and Swift are famously involved in a feud that has lasted over a decade. The song “Thank You Aimee” mentioned by Bryan is widely considered a diss track against West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

West and Swift’s rocky relationship dates back to 2009, when the rapper infamously stormed the stage and interrupted the singer as she was accepting the award for Best Female Video at the MTV Video Awards.

West grabbed Swift’s microphone and declared to a shocked audience: Beyonce should have won for “Single Ladies” instead.

“Yo, Taylor,” West, 47, said at the time. “I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé made one of the best videos of all time.”

Swift, 34, later offered West forgiveness in lyrics of her song “Innocent,” which appeared on her 2010 album. Speak Now.

However, when West mentioned Swift’s name in his 2016 album “Famous,” claiming he “made that bitch famous,” it led to even more animosity between the two.

Speaking to X, West later defended the lyrics, even insisting that Swift had given him her blessing before the song’s release. (It later emerged that Swift had only approved the line “I feel like Taylor and I might still have sex” during their phone call.)

When Swift denied that the conversation took place as the rapper claimed, West’s then-wife Kardashian posted a video of West and Swift talking about the song on the phone, calling Swift a “snake.”

Swift went into hiding after receiving heated backlash, but returned to release her 2017 album. Call, which contains references aimed at both West and Kardashian.
