For the Mets, Thursday will be a television evening marked by the past.

The Mets begin their big four-game series against the Phillies, their final home games of the season, on Channel 9 (WOR).

The game will be broadcast exclusively on Fox nationally, but since the Jets play the Patriots on “Thursday Night Football” on Amazon, the games will be broadcast on free TV in those two local NFL markets, and in the New York area, it will be seen on Fox 5.

For this reason, the Mets game against the Phillies was moved to My9, Fox 5’s sister station.

Each of the four games will be broadcast on a different channel.

The Mets’ game against the Phillies on Friday night will be available exclusively on Apple TV+, while Saturday’s game will air on SNY at 4:10 p.m.

The teams will end the series with a game on “Sunday Night Baseball” on ESPN.

After this dizzying stretch, Mets fans will be familiar with the team’s final six games, including big road series against the Braves and Brewers as they try to secure their spot in the 2024 MLB playoffs.

SNY will broadcast five of the six games, while next Saturday’s game in Milwaukee will be broadcast on PIX11.

As for Thursday’s game, Mets star Francisco Lindor remains out with back problems, while promising young player Luisangel Acuna returns to play shortstop.

Luis Severino will face ex-Met Taijuan Walker on the mound.
