Amazon Prime Video has introduced a new segment with Nikki Glaser after “Thursday Night Football” that divided the opinions of NFL fans.

After the Jets’ 24-3 win over the Patriots, Prime Video’s postgame show invited comedian Glaser – who made a notable appearance during Tom Brady’s slamming – to present her first “Late Hits” segment, in which she slammed the two teams and the Amazon crew.

Glaser kicked things off by telling host Charissa Thompson she looked like “the final boss of a country club” before making fun of the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Jets linebacker CJ Mosley.

And the somewhat out-of-place segment received mixed reviews on X.

“This Nikki Glaser segment is so embarrassing. What is Amazon doing?” said one fan.

“Nikki Glaser is totally down right now (laughing, crying emojis), this is not her stage,” added another.

A third commented: “Somehow the aftermath of Nikki Glaser is even worse than the actual game.”

Others felt that she had done an impressive job in this difficult situation.

“What @NikkiGlaser just did is so damn hard,” said Matthew Berry, fantasy football commentator for NBC Sports. “She told jokes with no audience while Jets fans screamed in the background and she still came out on top. It was hilarious.”

Another person said, “Damn the main hosts are giving Nikki Glaser NOTHING. She deserves so much better. This is so hard to watch. These jokes are actually pretty good but it’s so hard to laugh past my embarrassment that she’s not getting any laughs from the co-hosts other than Richard Sherman’s heavy breathing.”

And another fan chimed in: “I think she’s got it. Something new. Something different. Give me more of that!”

In her five-minute set, Glaser made fun of a wide range of personalities.

Most notably, she called Aaron Rodgers “Throw Rogan,” a reference to podcast host Joe Rogan and the quarterback’s polarizing views.

She also claimed that an apparently awkward moment between Rodgers and coach Robert Saleh in the first half was caused by the latter “reminding him that RFK Jr. has dropped out of the (presidential) race.”

Glaser also took a shot at linebacker CJ Mosley, who missed the game with a toe injury – which she condescendingly described as a “first degree ouch.”

She also mentioned the Patriots’ new coach, Jerod Mayo, and said it must be “hard” for longtime former coach Bill Belichick to “watch his ex get involved with a hot black guy.”

After targeting Thompson, she turned to her Amazon colleagues, saying Richard Sherman looked like “Busta Rhymes on Ozempic” and calling Andrew Whitworth “Men’s Warehouse Shrek.”

She also said that Tony Gonzalez “looks like a ghost that can only be conjured up by rubbing the crotch of a practical Talbots pantsuit.”

In addition, she referred to the bearded former quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick as “Sacked Galifianakis” in reference to the actor Zach Galifianakis – a joke that he apparently did not appreciate.

She later described the duel between New England and New York as “a battle of the cities where you can get stabbed on parade.”

Regardless of whether you enjoyed Glaser’s performance or not, it won’t be the last time you see her on Thursday Night Football, as she has announced that she will appear on the show four more times.
