Tom Brady finally drops the truth bomb on Fox Football broadcast and people love it

Tom Brady spoke brutally openly about a Dallas Cowboys receiver who slipped during Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints – and that was the moment many fans had been waiting for. (Watch the video below.)

The seven-time Super Bowl winner signed a $375 million deal with Fox Sports to provide a glimpse of his abilities as perhaps the greatest quarterback of all time, but he understandably struggled in his debut behind the microphone last week.

In Week 2, however, he let viewers know exactly how he would have treated Dallas’ Jalen Brooks after he fell on his pass route, allowing the ball to be easily intercepted in the Saints’ eventual 44-19 win.

Live commentator Kevin Burkhardt asked Brady if he would throw the ball to Brooks again to boost his confidence, and the former Patriots and Buccaneers star didn’t mince his words.

“Not today,” Brady said. “It’s actually pretty difficult to go back there because you know where he is and you say, ‘God, I’m going to him and I just can’t trust him to stay on his feet.’ You obviously trust him to do the right thing. But can he make the play?”

After lukewarm reviews and an embarrassing fist bump with a colleague in the first week, Brady scored points with his openness.
