After a very slow start to the season, the Houston Astros have once again proven their dominance in the AL West. Well, almost. Despite having one of the best second halves in baseball, the Astros have not yet secured a spot in the MLB playoffs.

The Seattle Mariners are trying their best to prevent the Astros from winning the AL West for a fourth consecutive year, and maybe even keep them out of the playoffs altogether. However, the Astros have the advantage of currently leading the division. Here’s their magic number to secure a playoff spot.
