More than 200 restaurants are taking part in the food affair

PHOENIX — Arizona Fall Restaurant Week is back this September! This multi-day event takes place September 20-29 and offers you the opportunity to try new restaurants, dishes and exclusive menu items at a fraction of the usual cost.

The restaurants participating in this culinary event offer three-course meals at a set price of $33, $44 or $55 per person. Depending on the restaurant, some offer these set prices per couple.

According to organizers, more than 50 restaurants will offer exclusive Tito’s cocktails as part of their Arizona Restaurant Week Menu options.

The annual gastronomy event is back this fall, with more businesses participating than last year!

“We are proud to offer such a sought-after experience to Arizona restaurant-goers, and we are even prouder to support the restaurant industry, which has such a huge impact on the state’s economy. With so many restaurants participating this year, there is truly something for everyone, and we hope the community responds by trying as many restaurants as possible during the 10-day event,” said Steve Chucri, president and CEO of the Arizona Restaurant Association, in a press release to ABC15.

Arizona Restaurant Week begins September 20

“Our summers are going to be tough economically, not only because of the heat, but also because people are leaving the state. We’re feeling that in the restaurant industry,” Chucri said.

With restaurants offering multi-course meals ranging in price from $33 to $55, Chucri says this is the best time of year to try that restaurant you’ve always wanted to go to.

“People can step out of their comfort zone and try something new at a reasonable price,” Chucri said.

One of the participating restaurants is Fleming’s Steakhouse on Scottsdale Road.

The chef says one of the special dishes of Restaurant Week is the Petite Filet Mignon.

It’s on the regular menu and costs $56, but during Restaurant Week, guests can get the steak plus salad and dessert for $55.

“People are looking for value these days,” said Conrad Medina of Fleming’s. “Our average price is $100 per guest, so that’s almost half the price.”
