Nikki Glaser mocks Aaron Rodgers over rumors of dysfunctional family

While delivering her game analysis on “Thursday Night Football” on Amazon Prime, Nikki Glaser didn’t hold back with her mockery of the Jets. The 40-year-old comedian compared them to Bruce Springsteen. “They’re from New Jersey and they’ve spent the last four decades making grown men cry.”

She particularly focused on new quarterback Aaron Rodgers, “or as I like to call him: Throw Rogan.” Rodgers, 40, has appeared several times on Joe Rogan’s controversial, hard-hitting podcast. “He’s funny, he lives in New York, he’s always on his buddy’s podcast,” she said, adding, “Honestly, I’m shocked I haven’t dated him yet.”

Glaser felt some of the best action of the game took place on the sidelines. In her “play of the game,” she highlighted a moment when Rodgers appeared to glare at coach Robert Saleh. Shocked by Rodgers’ obvious anger, she asked, “Why is Aaron doing that? Is that one of his closest family members?” Rodgers is notorious for his ongoing feud with his parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers, and his brothers, Luke and Jordan Rodgers. According to People, Rodgers did not attend any of his brothers’ weddings in 2019 and 2022.

Not much is known about the exact issues that drove the family apart, but the former Green Bay Packers quarterback has spoken about how differences of opinion regarding religion divided the family.

Jordan Rodgers appeared in JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorettewhich he ultimately won. During a hometown visit, JoJo and Jordan had dinner with the Rodgers family, leaving two seats at the table empty for Aaron and his then-girlfriend Olivia Munn. During the scene, Jordan said, “It hurts both of us not to have that relationship (with Aaron) – we miss our brother.”

According to biographer Ian O’Conner, “Aaron was irritated by his family’s decision to film this scene, empty chairs and all, especially since he was not invited to participate.” The author wrote in his new book Out of the Darkness: The Secret of Aaron Rodgers, per E News. “Not that he showed up. Aaron didn’t agree with Jordan exploiting their personal problems to increase his visibility for a possible television career.”
