If you walk into an Apple Store or check the website this Friday, you’ll notice the launch of some new products, including the iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4. We reported on the announcement of the new products earlier this month, but now everything is available in-store and online. If you need an iPhone upgrade or prefer the better cameras on the Pro model, now is the best time to get your hands on Apple’s latest tech.

iPhone 16 Pro

The iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models have a new design with a slightly larger and brighter display and a brand new customizable action button that you’ll find on the side of the phone in a similar size to volume rockers. The new phone also has harder glass so there’s less risk of screen breakage, a titanium build that makes it lighter and more durable, and longer and better battery life than the previous iPhone version.

The new iPhone models will all feature Apple Intelligence, thanks to the A18 Bionic chip, which essentially gives your iPhone AI capabilities. According to Apple, the Apple Intelligence, or “AI,” update isn’t ready today, but should be available soon. Some of the Apple Intelligence features will give you various benefits that improve the way you take photos, write, and communicate via text. Some of the key AI features include proofreading, changing the tone of an email, or creating custom generative emojis.

The camera system has also been revamped with an improved 48-megapixel main camera, a 5x telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities, and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The iPhone 16 starts at $799, and the iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999. All new models are available now.

The Apple Watch Series 10 updates one of our most popular smartwatches (the Series 9). The latest model has a thinner design, making it more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. The watch also updates once per second when you turn on Always On mode, instead of once per minute like previous models.

The Series 10 now comes with a 42mm and 46mm OLED screen that’s thinner and brighter when viewed from an angle. Apple’s health-focused design continued this year with a brand new sleep apnea detection that has the watch looking for breathing disorders. There’s also a quick charge feature of up to 30 minutes, and Apple says you can expect around 18 hours of battery life on a full charge.

The Watch Series 10 starts at $399 and is available now in a variety of finishes including silver, jet black and rose gold. There’s also a new titanium version in natural, gold and dark slate gray.

Other than a new satin black finish and a titanium black Milanese loop bracelet, there were no notable updates to the Ultra 2. The model is available starting today.

AirPods 4 – Active Noise Cancellation

The latest AirPods feature significant improvements, including a more comfortable design and improved audio quality. The active noise-cancelling version of the AirPods 4 can adjust the sound and adapt to your surroundings, similar to a feature found in the AirPods Pro models. The new noise-cancelling AirPods essentially give you an AirPods Pro experience at a much more affordable price. One would expect the lack of a proper seal to be a problem for the Apple AirPods 4 and their open design, but the noise-cancelling effectively blocks out sound. Both versions are sweat and dust resistant and use USB-C charging, while the noise-cancelling version also supports Magsafe charging. The base AirPods 4 cost $129 and the noise-cancelling version costs $179. Both models are available now.
