Steamworld Heist 2 has several currencies that players work for to improve their crew and ship. While fragments and gallons can be earned and kept for as long as they are needed, reputation is different, as it can only be collected and used on the same day.

The reputation rewards are some of the better options in terms of weapons at this point in the game, so it’s important to increase the size of your crew and use every reputation you earn. Reputation can be farmed, but there are some limitations to how much you can earn in a day. Here’s how to get and use reputation.

How to gain reputation in Steamworld Heist 2

The reputation is Earned by completing missions with your crew. Completing a mission will reward players with the majority of the Renown available for that mission, which can be seen on the mission preparation screen. Once the mission begins, a bonus objective will appear in the top right corner, which can also be completed to increase the number of Renown points you receive upon completion, all while trying to shoot the hats off enemies’ heads.

Missions can be completed as many times as you like to gain reputation. Each crew member can only complete one mission per day. This limits the amount of reputation you can earn in a day. Reputation must be used at the end of the day, otherwise it will be exchanged for gallons at a low rate.

  • Recruit more crew members to increase the number of missions you can complete in a day.
  • Always complete the bonus objective in a mission to improve your reputation.
