While it doesn’t have the same longevity or prestige as ESPN’s “College GameDay,” Fox’s “Big Noon Kickoff” has become a staple of college football since its debut in 2019.
Like “College GameDay,” the preseason coverage is broadcast live from the site of one of the week’s most important sports games, drawing thousands of fans in the background and ensuring a constant tension as Fox executives decide where to go this week.

In Week 4 of the 2024 college football season, the show features a handful of tantalizing options, including No. 12 USC at No. 17 Michigan, No. 10 Utah at No. 15 Oklahoma State and No. 7 Tennessee at No. 13 Oklahoma.
On Saturday, however, Urban Meyer, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, Mark Ingram and the rest of the Big Noon Kickoff crew will not be anywhere near those locations.

Where is the Big Noon Kickoff in Week 4?

“Big Noon Kickoff” will be broadcast live from Columbus, Ohio, outside Ohio Stadium, where No. 3 Ohio State will face Marshall this weekend.
Why exactly will there be a game with a lead of nearly 40 points when there are matchups between higher ranked teams that are almost certainly more competitive? It depends on which games are on which channels.
With a few exceptions, shows like “College GameDay” and “Big Noon Kickoff” will carry over from a game that will be on ESPN and Fox, respectively. Tennessee-Oklahoma is on ABC — like ESPN, a Disney-owned program — and USC-Michigan is on CBS, which is in the first season of a media rights deal in which it will broadcast a Big Ten game in the 3:30 p.m. ET slot long occupied by the SEC.
If there is one criticism of the show being broadcast in Columbus, it is the fact that Fox is also broadcasting the Utah-Oklahoma State game at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, with the winner getting a decisive advantage in the race for the Big 12 title.
What channel is Big Noon Kickoff on today?
“Big Noon Kickoff” will air in Fox’s traditional time slot, immediately prior to the Ohio State-Marshall game, which begins at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Big Noon Kickoff Cast
Although Big Noon Kickoff doesn’t feature as many of the personalities known for broadcasting college football as Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso did on College GameDay, the show still features some of the most well-known personalities in college football of the last 20 years.
The show’s cast includes 2004 Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart, former Notre Dame star quarterback Brady Quinn, 2009 Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram and three-time national champion coach Urban Meyer. Saturday will be a homecoming of sorts for Meyer, who coached Ohio State from 2012-18 and helped the Buckeyes win the first College Football Playoff at the end of the 2014 season.
The show, hosted by longtime Fox commentator Rob Stone, also features college football insider Bruce Feldman, reporter and tearjerker extraordinaire Tom Rinaldi and gambling expert Chris “The Bear” Fallica.
