The UCLA Bruins football team did not have a particularly good start, sitting at 1-1 after two games. Although they were able to beat the University of Hawaii to start the new year, UCLA looked shaky at times during the game.

In the second game against Indiana, things came to a head and the Bruins were unable to do much. UCLA lost 42-13 to the Hoosiers in front of the loyal Bruins fans in the Rose Bowl.

It was a tough game for head coach DeShaun Foster and his team, and their next opponent won’t be any easier. UCLA travels to Baton Rouge to face the LSU Tigers in what could be an extremely tough matchup.

Given LSU’s strong home field advantage, it may be difficult for teams to get into Tiger Stadium. UCLA has looked weak to start the year, and while they won’t win this game, they’re holding up a little more respectably than people might think.

James Brizuela: The Bruins did secure a win in Week 1, but when faced with a bigger challenge in the Indiana Hoosiers, the team nearly collapsed. Now UCLA will face No. 16 LSU in their second big matchup this season. Expect the Bruins to turn things around, but it will still be a tough game to win.
