It feels like the Michigan State football team missed out on a win on Saturday night.

The Spartans gave up a lead in the final minutes and lost 23-19 at Boston College on Saturday. Michigan State was doomed by four costly turnovers – including a game-winning interception – and had to settle for field goals after long drives.

The loss drops Michigan State to 3-1 this season. The Spartans finished 2-1 in non-conference play.

Michigan State will look to regroup next week in a tough test against top-five Ohio State. But before we turn our attention to the Buckeyes, let’s hear what Detroit Free Press sports reporter Chris Solari and Lansing State Journal columnist Graham Couch had to say about Michigan State’s loss at Boston College.
