The 100,000 hot dogs purchased for Atlanta’s Week 3 game represents 10 to 20 times the sales volume at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and is more than the total number of hot dogs sold during the 2023 season (82,000). The Falcons are preparing for the action by setting up 20 additional hot dog concession stands, as well as an outdoor kitchen with 12 ovens.
The Falcons began their season 1-1, with a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and a decisive last-minute win over the Philadelphia Eagles, in which quarterback Kirk Cousins completed a seven-yard pass to Drake London for a touchdown. Younghoe Koo’s field goal kick sealed the victory.
