Raider Nation was the only thing to watch in the Las Vegas Raiders’ Week 3 loss

Raider Nation was the only thing to watch in the Las Vegas Raiders’ Week 3 loss

Raiders Nation was in attendance and ready to rock for their Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

They came early in the team’s season opener and fans did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the Raiders played a terrible and disappointing game. Las Vegas had no answer for the Carolina Panthers.

The Raiders embarrassed themselves and lost 36:22 on their home court.

Our Hondo S. Carpenter Sr. discussed the Raiders’ disappointing loss in Week 3 in a recent episode of the “Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast.”

“That was a game where the Raiders were weak, they were better coached, they were outplayed and they were tough,” Carpenter said. “If I were the Raiders, I would have taken two things away: Antonio Pierce wanted none of it. I think his press conference was a success. … They had 12 quarters and 10.5 of them, they were anemic. Only a quarter and a half in Baltimore where they were good. … It was a terrible performance, there’s no sugarcoating that. … One of my colleagues said, ‘Who’s going to protect Maxx (Crosby) from Maxx?’ At one point, when you saw him hobbling down the field, you thought the game was out of control. Do you tell him to sit down? … But even AP said after the game they were looking at the pass to set up the run. But it’s not working. It’s clearly not working. … For the first time in the Patrick Graham era, his defense looked confused. The entire team looked confused and disoriented. It was a poor performance. … When you see the offense continue to play at a certain level, it goes back to what Nick Saban said: ‘If you allow it, coach it.’ … There’s a simulation that it’s OK to throw to the flat on third-and-5, … And I’m telling you, if you’re a Raider fan, you should be incredibly encouraged by Antonio Pierce’s reaction tonight. It was one of the most rigorous postgame coaching press conferences I’ve ever been a part of.”
