There is more important recruitment news this week.
Just two days after 2025 forward Trent Sisley announced his decision to attend Indiana, his classmate Jalen Haralson will make his college choice public.
Haralson posted on social media that he will announce the decision of the three finalists, Indiana, Notre Dame and Michigan State, on Wednesday. He will make the announcement live at 7 p.m. ET on the national YouTube channel 247Sports.
The 6-foot-6 Haralson recently made official visits to all three schools. Indiana’s entire staff recently visited Haralson at La Lumiere, where he attends the private school in northern Indiana.
Haralson averaged 21.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game on the Nike EYBL Circuit this spring and summer.
In eight league games with La Lumiere as a junior, he scored 9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while shooting 44% from the three-point line.
Haralson, who could play point guard or wing in college, is a 5-star recruit and ranks 10th in the class of 2025 according to On3 Industry Average.
Indiana has been a top priority for Haralson throughout his high school career, which began at Fishers HS. After several visits to Bloomington and family members who attended the school, Haralson knows Indiana very well.
“The (IU) fan base is crazy. You can’t beat that fan base. They’re very passionate. I think that’s what stands out the most,” Haralson told TDH this summer. “And of course, Coach Woodson is an NBA coach and that’s where I want to be.”
Haralson and Sisley were summer teammates for several years with the Indy Heat on the Nike EYBL Circuit. Indiana extended an offer to both players in October 2021 before they played their first high school basketball games.
