NATCHEZ – Community members and small businesses are invited to the Natchez Day Out and Town Hall event at Copiah-Lincoln Community College – Natchez Campus.

This community-focused event is designed to bring together community members, local businesses and students in a family-friendly atmosphere.

The Natchez Day Out and Town Hall event will be held on Saturday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to noon on Co-Lin’s Natchez campus.

At the event you can expect:

  • Food trucks and local vendors: A variety of food and items from local businesses for sale.
Community Engagement: Natchez City Facilities brings their department to life for an interactive experience.
  • Activities for kids: Inflatable toys and other fun activities for kids of all ages.
  • Live music: Great music provides great entertainment.
  • Town Hall Meeting: An opportunity for the community to share their thoughts on what Co-Lin Natchez can offer and how we can better support the community.

There are a limited number of spaces for local vendors to sell food and other goods or provide information about services during the event.

There is no vendor fee to participate, but space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is an opportunity for small businesses and organizations to showcase their products, nonprofits or services and engage with the community.

Anyone interested in participating in the event as a vendor or attendee should fill out the form no later than Friday, August 30, at the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/WzC1cCdttB

Further details regarding setup, parking and other logistical information will be announced closer to the event date.

“We believe your presence will add great value to this day and help us create a vibrant and exciting experience for the entire Natchez community,” said Dr. Pernell Goodwin, vice president of Co-Lin’s Natchez campus. “Thank you for considering this opportunity. We look forward to your participation and working together to make this event a success.”
