An employee at the bar next to the taco shop recalled the moment when she had to push customers and colleagues out of the building because they “share a wall with the restaurant.”

“She was just backing up and slamming into all kinds of walls,” Bailey Thompson told ABC 7. “So we share a wall with them, so she started slamming into our wall.”

A day later, the restaurant owner’s daughter, Antonia Reyes, told ABC 7 that the woman was a former employee and that she was shocked by the incident.

“Your mother still works for us. She’s been working for us for… maybe over 8 years.”

Although her alleged vandalism destroyed the family’s business, Reyes still showed sympathy for the suspect.

“We have so much love for the family. This is an unfortunate situation that has happened and it breaks our hearts.”
