HMT AG has received a spider platform and a truck-mounted work platform

Stefan Weber hands over the keys of the 20D to Fabienne Allenbach at HMT.

The Swiss rental company HMT AG has received a spider and truck assembly pair from Socage.

The 18m Raptor Spider lift arrived at the rental company last November, and the 20m double-articulating platform was delivered on a 3.5t self-propelled truck in June this year.

The Socage aerial work platforms convinced Fabienne Allenbach, long-standing managing director, and Christian Allenbach, technical director of HMT AG, with their features and delivery standard:

With a working height of 18 m, the 18S Raptor features a basket capacity of 230 kg with 8.2 m lateral reach, a diesel engine, a non-marking rubber track and radio control.

The 20m working height 20D Speed stands on a 3.5 tonne Iveco Daily with narrow support and up to 300kg basket load and reach up to 8.7m, including front basket attachment without substructure.

The Socage models come standard with automatic stabilization, home and telemetry functions, which allow HMT to access manuals, spare parts and service requests via the Mysocage portal.

Options such as GPS tracking, geofencing, calendar functions, switching off the rotation above the vehicle cabin, switching off the lift functions remotely, as well as remote maintenance via Socage customer service round off the delivery package.

Device status, stabilizer and platform position, alarms and error messages are displayed online in a simple graphic in the Mysocage portal via the diagnostic display and the standard telemetry system.

QR codes on the control panels and in the driver’s cab direct the operator to the Socage Academy Channel. Short video tutorials provide simple instructions on how to control the machine in the main European languages.
