Expansion supports growing demand for sustainable transport solutions along the emerging “hydrogen highway”

PHOENIX, 12 August 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Nikola Corporation (NASDAQ:NKLA), a global leader in zero-emissions transportation, energy and infrastructure solutions, continues to supply HYLA fueling solutions through the HYLA brand to support the volume increase of its Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks in Southern California, just off the 5 Freeway, one of the busiest truck routes in the United States.

Located at 13443 Freeway Dr. in Santa Fe Springs, California.Located at Tom’s Truck Center, a key part of the Nikola sales and service dealer network, this new modular HYLA fueling station begins operations today and supports Nikola’s goal of offering 14 fueling solutions by year-end, representing a mix of HYLA and partner fueling stations for our customers.

Nikola continues to open fueling stations and deploy facilities based on anticipated demand. The primary goal is to stay ahead of the rollout of hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks to ensure that fueling solutions are ready and available for end-fleets.

With the addition of the Santa Fe Springs station, Nikola completes a key hydrogen fueling triangle in Southern California. This strategic location, along with stations in Ontario and Long Beach, now forms a robust network spanning multiple counties and serving a population of over 12 million people.*
