The house of Givenchy celebrates a major appearance on the West Coast with the opening of its first permanent store in Los Angeles, located in the legendary Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building at 332 North Rodeo Drive. This 8,000-square-foot space is set to become Givenchy’s West Coast flagship, with the first 4,400-square-foot retail space opening in August and the rest in early 2025.

The store’s design masterfully preserves the historic character of the iconic building while seamlessly incorporating Givenchy’s signature style. Key original features, including the diamond-etched concrete ceilings, red floors and two fireplaces, have been carefully restored, creating a perfect blend of sharp industrial elements and soft natural materials. This thoughtful design approach results in a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects Givenchy’s timeless elegance. An archival tiger print fabric once used by Hubert de Givenchy in his home adds a touch of vibrant color to the upholstery and stairwells.

The store is thoughtfully divided into separate entrances for men’s and women’s collections, a nod to the building’s original multi-store concept. Inside, shoppers will find the full range of Givenchy’s ready-to-wear and accessories, including exclusive pieces designed specifically for the LA Flagship. Highlights include the chic Voyou handbag, the iconic Antigona Cube and the always stylish Shark Lock boots. In addition, visitors will get an exclusive preview of the Fall/Winter 2024 runway collection.
