Charlotte’s longest RJ route by far

Remember the distance from Quebec City: 817 nautical miles (1,514 km). As incredible as it sounds, that’s exactly the same distance as Charlotte-Oklahoma City on a great circle basis. As usual, this can change in real-world use.

Of course, Charlotte-Oklahoma City is served much more frequently, using mainline routes and RJs. As for RJs, service is weekly in August, but from September onwards it is usually daily or eight times weekly, all on the CRJ900.

When the maximum block time in August is taken into account, Québec City is tied with Oklahoma City at two 2h 49m. No matter how you look at it, that’s a long time on an RJ, even on board relatively large-capacity examples like the CRJ900.

Charlotte’s new goals in 2024
