Delta offers seasonal nonstop flights between Palm Springs and New York

Palm Springs International Airport today announced the beginning of nonstop service to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.

The new seasonal route will be operated by Delta Airlines’ Airbus A220-300 and will be offered on Saturdays starting December 21. The airport will arrive at PSP at 10:50 a.m. and depart at 12:50 p.m., according to an airport statement. The service will be offered until May 3, 2025.

The flights themselves last approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes.

“(Delta’s) new service to JFK not only improves our connectivity to the East Coast, but also provides a high level of comfort and convenience for our passengers,” Harry Barrett Jr., PSP’s chief executive officer, said in a statement. “This is a wonderful addition to our growing list of air service options.”

The move gives Palm Springs another nonstop connection to New York. This comes less than a month after JetBlue announced it would end its service between the two airports.

Alaska Airlines also offers nonstop service to the Big Apple. The airline will return to Palm Springs in October.
