The monsoon pattern is present for the beginning of the week

The forecast for tonight:
Rain will continue through most of the evening, likely affecting any outdoor plans. Flood warnings will be in effect until midnight today. Heavy rain will be possible and low-lying areas will be prone to flooding. There will also be areas of standing water on I-25, so slow down. Rain will slowly move out of the Pikes Peak region after dinner hours. Rain will continue to fall on the Plains until later in the evening.

Colorado Springs Weather Forecast: Low: 58; High: 86;
Rain will continue into the evening hours. Many outdoor plans will likely be affected. Rain should ease after sunset, but there may still be isolated showers. Afternoon showers will continue tomorrow, but we probably won’t see widespread showers like today.

Pueblo Forecast: Low: 61; High: 93;
Scattered showers are possible around dinnertime, continuing into the late evening. Rain is forecast again for tomorrow afternoon. Roads are likely to accumulate water, so drive carefully over the next few days.

Weather forecast for Canon City: Low: 63; High: 88;
In Canon City, the sky will clear up in the evening, but rain is likely again tomorrow. Flash flooding could still be a concern, but today it looks like it will become more widespread.

Weather forecast for Woodland Park: Low: 47; High: 76;
In Woodland Park, the chance of rain will increase throughout the week. Highs tomorrow will be around 24 degrees and these temperatures should remain throughout the week. The chance of rain will increase again towards the weekend.

Tri-Lakes Forecast: Low: 56; High: 83;
There will be scattered showers this evening, with the main threat being flooding. Showers should ease after sunset. There may still be water on the roads, so drive with caution.

Weather forecast for the plains: Low: Lower 60s; High: mid-90s;
As the week progresses, the plains will gradually warm up, but there is also a chance of rain. From Thursday onwards, it will be drier.

Weather forecast for Walsenburg and Trinidad: Low: 58/59; High: 84/88;
Tomorrow it is more likely to rain again and temperatures should rise day by day. By mid-week we will reach temperatures above 30 degrees.

Mountain forecast: Low: Low 50s/Upper 40s; High: mid to late 70s;
In the mountains, it may rain every day in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to rise gradually every day, but we should stay between 25 and 25 degrees.

Extended outlook:
The monsoon pattern will bring in moisture tomorrow and Wednesday, but the same high pressure system will pull in dry air through Thursday. This will give us a day or two with limited rain chances. Once we reach the weekend, moisture will be brought back into the state, which will increase our rain chances again.
