Moving is a stressful process if you don’t also have to make the difficult decision of where to move to.

Your decision about where to move may have gotten a little easier. WalletHub just released its 2024 Most Livable States report.

Taking into account the cost of living, quality of education, and safety, WalletHub compared all 50 states to determine the ideal place to live in the US.

Iowa ranks 12th among the most livable places in the country, beating Minnesota and Maine, which came in 13th and 14th, respectively. However, Iowa has dropped one spot from its 11th place ranking in 2023. It’s also a slightly lower rating than the sixth place U.S. News & World Report awarded the state in its list earlier this year.
