Fire destroys several outbuildings
– Firefighters responded to a half-acre fire that burned several outbuildings near the Paso Robles Municipal Airport Monday afternoon, according to a Cal Fire social media post.
The fire reportedly broke out around 4:20 p.m. in the 5100 block of Jardine Road. At least nine fire units from Cal Fire San Luis Obispo and two from Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene.
At 4:48 p.m., Cal Fire announced on social media platform X that the fire’s advance had been halted at about a quarter of an acre. According to Cal Fire, crews are expected to be busy with cleanup efforts for another hour.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is under investigation.
